INGREDIENTS

- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 and 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
- Americolor Green Gel food coloring
- Sanding sugar in white
- 24 heart candy sprinkles

LETS BAKE

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In your stand mixer with paddle attachment, and Mixer Skirt fabric splash guard for stand mixers attached, add butter and sugar.
- Beat on medium speed until creamed. Mixture should be fluffy and combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla and continue to mix on medium speed until combined,
- In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda and cream of tarter and mix to combine.
- Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients in stand mixer bowl while mixer is on medium speed.
- Add 2-3 drops of food coloring.
- Scoop mixture into 24 balls, rolling each one individually into sanding sugar to coat.
- Place on parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-13 minutes, edges of cookie will be golden.
- Allow to cool 5-10 minutes, while cookie is still soft press 1 sprinkle heart into each cookie.
